Greenwich Psychotherapy Services is a counseling center specializing in individual, couple and family therapy with two convenient locations. We have a center in San Francisco located at 2182 Greenwich Street in the Marina/Cow Hollow District and a center in Marin County located at 119 Ward Street in old historic downtown Larkspur.
With over 25 years of experience as psychiatrists, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists, our clinicians work with a broad spectrum of clients. Our clinicians are are interactive, solution-focused therapists. Our therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. We integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, we work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Our therapists are all licensed therapists by either the California Board of Psychology, California Medical Board or the Board of Behavioral Science.
Our History
Greenwich Psychotherapy opened its doors in 1989 as a not for profit organization to train Registered Interns and Psychological Assistants earning their 3000 hours of clinical experience needed for full licensure in the state of California. We served low income individuals, couples and families in both San Francisco and Marin County. Over the 23 years in service as mental health care providers our therapists have successfully served over 5000 clients. Our staff members are all fully licensed therapists with many years of clinical practice and expertise to bring to their work with you. Today our clinicians treat clients from all over the Bay Area with diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. We work with children, preteens, teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. We serve individuals and couples with all sexual orientations including gay/lesbian, bisexual and transexual. Many of our clinicians have received speciality training and focus on their specific specialities while other therapists have been trained in a wide variety of theraputic modalities to bring to their work with you.
